A Not-So-Shining Star[bury]

With Marbury allegedly going to the Celtics after the Knicks bought out his contract earlier today, I can't help but compare it to their similar signing of Sam Cassell almost a year ago to the day. While it was thought at the time that Cassell's tendency to shoot first/pass second would't mesh well with a team who already had three greater stars sacrificing shots for success, that ended up not being the case as they went on to win the NBA Championship with Cassell coming off the bench. I can see the Celtics thinking in signing Starbury here - talented - but totally disagree with it. Here's why:

A) Sam Cassell is a winner (3 NBA Championships, 5 Conference Finals appearances) and Stephon Marbury is not (4 total playoff appearances, lost in 1st Round each time).

B) Marbury has single-handedly destroyed four NBA teams.

D) Cassell has bigger balls than Marbury:
